From a young age in Houston Texas, through high school, college, and postgraduate studies, J. Howard has proven time and time again through various artist expressions and works or art; that her skill, talent, and artistic eye truly art a gift bestowed upon her to release beauty into this world.

She has received both National and international acclaim for her drawings in soft pastels. Laying claim to over 15 prestigious awards and honors in the last 5 years alone. As a permanent member of the Southern Artist Group, she has more than 10 plus solo exhibits in prestigious museums and galleries throughout Texas, the United States, and the world. J. Howard is also widely published in books and magazines. Ranging in size from 6 x 6 to 36 x 50, many of her works are represented in corporate as well as private collections.
